The Cottages

were originally built in 1921 to commemorate the men of the parish who did not return from the great war. They fell in to disrepair when  the first world war dependants died out  It was felt by some members of the village that the cottages should be brought back into use. Monies were raised the trust was revived and the work was undertaken.   The cottages are lived in by ex service personnel who have served their country in time of war
